Charge for every extra shot

In a cafe the money leaks in the small things: the oat milk nobody rang up, the extra shot given away in the queue. Tradeinit puts priced extras one tap away, so the till matches the cups.

How the night runs with Tradeinit

01
The morning queue

A flat white, oat milk, extra shot. Each extra is a button with its price on it, so the order is right and charged right in a few taps.

02
Food to the kitchen

Toasties and brunch go to the kitchen screen or printer with a one-tap note like "no butter". Coffee stays at the counter.

03
Receipts and the end of the day

Print a numbered VAT receipt with your logo when a customer asks. At close, see which extras sold and what you took.

What matters here

What cafes get from Tradeinit

Priced extras

Oat milk, an extra shot or a syrup is a button with its own price, and it is counted in your reports.

One-tap notes

Common notes like "no onion" or "extra hot" are set per category, so nobody types them during a rush.

QR at the table

Customers sitting in can order and pay from their phone, so the queue at the counter stays short.

VAT receipts

Numbered receipts with your logo, address, VAT number and a Google review QR.

Your menu, your prices

Change your menu and prices from your phone. Or import your menu from photos of the paper one.

Questions

Cafes ask us

Do I need new hardware?
No. A tablet at the counter is enough. Add an Epson receipt printer if you want paper receipts or kitchen tickets.
Do I need bookings?
Most cafes do not, so you can leave bookings switched off. It is there if you start taking tables for brunch.
Can I keep my card machine?
Yes. Record card payments taken on your own machine at the counter, and take QR payments into your own merchant account.
How long does setup take?
We set it up remotely in a day. Photos of your paper menu are enough to import it.
How much does it cost?
Pricing starts at 30 pounds a month per venue, with card fees separate. See pricing for the details.
