A till for your shop counter that keeps count
Scan the barcode, take the payment, print the receipt. Behind the counter Tradeinit keeps the stock, prints the VAT by rate, closes the day with a Z report, and shows every shop you own under one login.

How the night runs with Tradeinit
Open the till on a tablet or the Windows till at the counter. Your categories are the top row, your products are buttons, and the scanner is ready.
Scan the barcodes, take cash, send the bill to the card machine, or let the customer tap on the handheld. The drawer pops on a cash sale. A numbered VAT receipt prints with the VAT by rate.
Press Close the day: the Z report prints with takings by how they were paid, VAT by rate, discounts, refunds and the cash that should be in the drawer, and lands in your inbox.
What shops and retail get from Tradeinit
Any USB or Bluetooth scanner. A product the till does not know asks for a name and a price and is saved on the spot. Import your products from the old till's spreadsheet.
Tracked products leave the shelf as they sell. Deliveries, stocktakes, waste and corrections are movements with a name and a reason, so the number is always explained.
0%, 5% and 20% per category or product. The receipt marks each line and prints the VAT for each rate, which is what a VAT receipt for mixed goods must show.
Rang the loaf as a bottle of wine? A manager corrects the line after the sale. The receipt and the money stay as they were; stock and the reports follow.
The X report any time, the Z report when you close, printed and emailed, with the cash expected in the drawer.
Add your other shops under the same login, switch between them at the top of the page, and see them side by side.
What shops and retail usually switch on
In the order they tend to matter. Each one is a page of its own.
Ask how the night went, from the sofa
Your numbers feed an assistant you can message on WhatsApp or Telegram. Which dish sold most, how tonight compares, which note keeps coming up. Private to your venue.
Shops and retail ask us
- Does it track stock?
- Yes. Tick Track stock on a product, or receive it in a delivery, and the till counts it down as it sells. Stocktakes, waste and corrections are recorded with a name and a reason, and a history shows every change.
- Can I keep my printer and cash drawer?
- Usually. An Epson receipt printer connects to Tradeinit itself; a printer plugged into a Windows till works through a small helper on the till. The drawer plugs into the printer and pops on cash sales.
- Can I take card payments on a card machine?
- Yes. The till sends the sale to the card machine and records the result itself, or the customer taps on a handheld. Cash can stay on the till too.
- Do I need new hardware?
- No. Any tablet works as the till. An Epson receipt printer is optional for paper receipts.
- Who owns my sales data?
- You do. Your data belongs to your shop.
- How much does it cost?
- Pricing starts at 30 pounds a month per venue, with card fees separate. See pricing for the details.
