A full till that fits in the hatch
On a market pitch you have a hatch, a hotspot and a queue. Tradeinit runs on one tablet, lets the queue order from a QR on the hatch, and gets tickets to whoever is on the grill.

How the night runs with Tradeinit
Turn on your phone hotspot and open the till on the tablet. Your opening hours switch ordering on for you.
Some customers order at the hatch, others scan the QR and pay on their phone. Tickets print on a small Epson or show on a screen by the grill.
Cash and card are counted together. Check what you took and your top dishes on your phone before you drive home.
What food trucks get from Tradeinit
One tablet and a phone hotspot is enough to take orders.
Customers order and pay on their phone while they wait, with no app to download.
Tickets go to a small Epson printer, a screen, or both.
Take cash, record card on your own machine, or let the customer pay by QR.
Ordering opens and closes with your trading hours, so nobody orders after you have packed up.
What food trucks usually switch on
In the order they tend to matter. Each one is a page of its own.
Ask how the night went, from the sofa
Your numbers feed an assistant you can message on WhatsApp or Telegram. Which dish sold most, how tonight compares, which note keeps coming up. Private to your venue.
Food trucks ask us
- Will it work without venue wifi?
- Yes, a phone hotspot is enough. If the connection drops, QR ordering pauses until it returns and nothing is charged twice.
- Do I need a laptop for the printer?
- No. Epson printers connect to Tradeinit's servers themselves, so the printer only needs a connection.
- Can I keep my card machine?
- Yes. Record card payments taken on your own machine, and take QR payments into your own merchant account.
- What hardware do I need?
- A tablet or phone. A small Epson receipt printer is optional.
- How much does it cost?
- Pricing starts at 30 pounds a month per venue, with card fees separate. See pricing for the details.
