Run the whole floor from one system

Some tables want to order from their phone. Others want a waiter. Tradeinit takes both, sends food to the kitchen and drinks to the bar, and shows you the night's takings as they happen.

How the night runs with Tradeinit

01
Doors open, bookings arrive

Tonight's bookings are in the dashboard, with deposits paid and the birthday cake already noted. Walk-ins scan the QR on their table and see your menu straight away.

02
The rush hits the pass

QR orders and waiter rounds land as tickets: food at the kitchen, drinks at the bar. A table ordering a second round is flagged as a running order, so the kitchen knows they are already eating.

03
Bills and close

Split the bill evenly or by items, take cash or card, or let the guest pay on their phone. The nightly report lands in your inbox once you close.

What matters here

What restaurants get from Tradeinit

Two ways to order

Guests order and pay from a QR code on the table, or a waiter takes the order on a tablet. Both land in the same kitchen.

Kitchen and bar split

Food goes to the kitchen and drinks to the bar, by printer, by screen or both.

Running orders

Second rounds for a table already eating are flagged, so the pass does not treat them as a new table.

Changes the kitchen can read

If a sent round changes, the kitchen gets a CHANGED ticket showing only what moved.

Bookings with deposits

Guests book on your page, deposits scale with party size, and extras like a cake can be added at booking.

Questions

Restaurants ask us

Do I need new hardware?
No. Any tablet or phone runs the POS and the kitchen screen. An Epson receipt printer is optional if your kitchen prefers paper tickets.
Can I keep my card machine?
Yes. Waiters can record card taken at the bar on your existing machine. QR payments go into your own merchant account.
What happens if the wifi drops?
QR ordering pauses for guests until the connection returns, and nothing is charged twice. Payments are checked on our servers before any ticket prints.
Can the kitchen see takings?
No. Staff logins only show tickets. Takings stay in the owner's dashboard.
Is it running anywhere today?
Yes. Brilliant Gastro in Southall, London runs every service on Tradeinit, with QR ordering, the waiter POS and printers in the kitchen and at the bar.
How much does it cost?
Pricing starts at 30 pounds a month per venue, with card fees separate. See pricing for the details.
